Discovering RideRates

RideRates is where you create your contracts, rate cards and price lists.

RideRates is an application where you can create and manage contracts, rate cards, and price lists. These components allow you to configure and manage the pricing structure for rides between various locations, such as airports, ports, and train stations.

Rate Cards

Rate Cards organise rates for specific users, detailing the cost of rides from or to specific gateways, like airports, ports, or train stations. Each Rate Card is created through a three-step wizard, where you specify key details such as:

• Gateway: The specific location for the ride (e.g., airport, port, train station).
• Vehicle Types: The available vehicle options for the ride.
• Extras: Any additional services or fees that may apply.
• Prices: The specific rates for each vehicle type and gateway.
  

Price Lists

Once you have created Rate Cards, they can be associated with one or more Price Lists. A Price List compiles all the prices available under a specific contract. Prices in the list are calculated by taking the base rate from the Rate Card and adding a margin, which can consist of either:

• Fixed Fees: A set amount added to the base rate.
• Percentage Markups: A percentage increase applied to the base rate.
  

Contracts

A Contract defines the commercial relationship between two organisations. It includes:

• A written agreement section, outlining the terms and conditions.
• Key settings such as:
  • Start and End Dates: The contract’s validity period.
  • Payment Terms: The agreed-upon payment schedule.
  • System Settings: Options that influence how RideSuite behaves during the contract's lifespan.
    

Together, these components help streamline the pricing and contractual setup within the RideRates platform.
