Creating & Sharing Contracts

Creating & Sharing Contracts

Contracts in RideRates are created using a simple wizard. This guide will walk you through the steps to create, share, and review contracts with partners.

Creating a Contract

To create a new contract, follow these steps:

  1. Start by selecting 'New Contract' from the RideRates interface.
  2. Enter the following information:
    • Contract Name: Choose a unique name for the contract.
    • Partner: Select the partner associated with this contract.
    • Currency: Choose the currency for the contract.
    • Valid Dates: Set the valid from and valid to dates for the contract.
    • Status: Select the status of the contract (Live, Draft, Suspended).
  3. Optional: Attach your offline contract document for record-keeping.
  4. Select the Rate Cards you wish to include in the contract.
  5. Once all details are filled in, click 'Create Contract' to finalise.

How to Share a Contract

To share a contract with a partner:

  1. In the contract list view, click the 'Send' button next to the contract you wish to share.
  2. Add a message for the reviewer (optional).
  3. If necessary, include a link to supplementary Terms & Conditions (e.g., your website’s T&Cs).
  4. Once you’re ready, click 'Send for Review' to share the contract with your partner.

Important Information

  • Contracts can only be shared with partners who are part of the RideSuite platform.
  • Once a contract is created, you can send it to your partner for review. The shared contract will appear in the partner's RideRates system, where they can accept or reject it. After approval, the contract will be visible in their list of active contracts.

How to Review a Contract

When a contract is shared with you, it will appear in the 'New Contracts for Review' section above your contract list view. To review the contract:

  1. Click on the row corresponding to the contract you need to review.
  2. In the popup modal, you will see the following:
    • The optional message from the sender.
    • The creator of the contract.
    • The contract dates and currency.
    • The Rate Cards associated with the contract. Click on the Rate Card to open a read-only version and review the rates.
  3. Confirm Your Review:
    • Tick the box to confirm you’ve reviewed the contract and its related rates.
    • Tick the box to confirm you’ve read the optional T&Cs (if included).
  4. Accept or Reject: Once you’ve reviewed everything, you can either Accept or Reject the contract.
