The RideSuite Driver App is fully integrated with the RideSuite core platform, offering a seamless experience for drivers. New jobs are assigned from RideSchedule and automatically updated if there are any changes. This integration allows office-based staff to track driver locations in RideReact and communicate with drivers via the integrated chat feature.

Schedule View

The Schedule View presents a list of rides for the day, showing key details like:

• Route: The planned journey.
• Customer: Passenger details.
• Extras: Additional information related to the ride.

Drivers can tap on any ride in the list to view more detailed information.

Calendar View

The Calendar View displays the driver’s schedule in a familiar calendar format. This view helps drivers plan their day, including fuel stops, breaks, and other important activities. By clicking on any ride, drivers can see the full ride details.

Ride Details

To view the details of a specific ride, drivers can tap on a ride in either the Schedule or Calendar View. The Ride Details screen includes all essential information about the ride.

• To start the ride, the driver simply taps the ‘Start’ button.
  

Map View

The Map View provides a detailed route overview with:

• Pick-up, via, and drop-off points.
• Estimated journey time based on real-time or predicted traffic data.
  
• Ride Status updates which get sent to the RideSuite platform and other stakeholders. 
  

Alerts & Notifications

Drivers receive alerts for important events such as:

• New rides
• When it’s time to start a ride.
  
• Last-minute changes to ride details.
• Pro Accounts also receive flight status updates.
  

Dispatch Chat

The Dispatch Chat feature allows drivers to communicate easily with office-based colleagues. This tool supports:

• Sending and receiving text messages.
• Sharing photos to report incidents or capture important ride information.
  

Settings

The Settings menu offers several options to personalise the app experience:

• Night Mode: A dark theme for easier nighttime use.
• Legals: Access to legal information and policies.
• Tutorial: A guide to help drivers navigate the app.
• FAQ: A list of frequently asked questions.
• Hints & Tips: Useful suggestions for maximising app usage.
