RideManager Overview

RideManager coordinates the allocation of rides to partners and allows you to oversee the fulfillment.

RideManager streamlines the fulfillment process for transport orders consolidated from multiple sources via RideInbox, such as phone, email, and API.

Designed for Transport Service Organisers (agencies)—whether consumer-facing businesses or channel intermediaries—RideManager enables efficient ride allocation, real-time ride tracking, and comprehensive monitoring of rides performed by partners with fleets.

Role of Transport Service Organisers

Agencies act as intermediaries in the transport service supply chain. They allocate rides to platform users further down the chain, which could be:

  1. Other agencies: For example, those managing services across a larger region or country.
  2. Fleets: Capable of directly fulfilling the rides.

There is no theoretical limit to how many times a ride can be reallocated within the RideSuite ecosystem. However, agencies and their partners must first establish a connection through RideConnect.

Managing Purchase Orders and Ride Commitments

When a purchase order is received, the seller must take action:

  • [Accept]: Confirms the commitment to perform or arrange the ride.
  • [Reject]: Indicates the inability to perform or arrange the ride.

If circumstances change after accepting, sellers can cancel the ride. Buyers, in turn, can revoke the ride allocation and reassign it to another seller.

Note: Acceptance, rejection, cancellation, and revocation are subject to the specific terms and conditions agreed between the buyer and seller.

Key Information

  • Advance Bookings: Rides are often booked days, weeks, or even months in advance.
  • Driver Assignment: At the time of committing to fulfill a ride, fleets typically do not yet assign specific vehicles or drivers. This separation ensures flexibility in managing fleet schedules closer to the travel date.

Summary

RideManager empowers agencies to efficiently manage ride allocation and fulfillment within a connected network, ensuring seamless collaboration across all levels of the transport service supply chain.
