Receiving Order Cancellations

Receiving Order Cancellations

Cancelled Orders are accessed from the left-hand menu in RideInbox.

What are Cancelled Orders?

Cancellation requests may arise for various reasons, such as unforeseen circumstances or travel disruptions. An end-consumer may wish to cancel a ride or their entire booking.

Some agencies send cancellation instructions in the same format as External Orders or change requests, while others may send simple cancellation emails instead.

All cancellation instructions are grouped under the Cancelled Orders tab in RideInbox. This allows you to view and manage cancellation requests in one place.

How Does RideSuite Handle Cancelled Orders?

When a Cancellation Instruction is received, you can:

  • Review the cancellation request to ensure it is valid.
  • Create a task or issue if necessary, for further investigation or follow-up.
  • Enter a financial adjustment, if required, to reflect any changes in billing or refunds.

Clearing Cancelled Orders

To clear Cancelled Orders from the list view, simply click on the ‘OK’ action button once the cancellation has been processed.
