There are two types of badge notifications:
Below is a breakdown of what each badge means for each RideSuite application:
RideInbox > Inbox
Messages for Review
The badge shows the total number of unread messages. The badge number decreases each time an email is opened.
RideInbox > New Orders
Action Required
The badge shows the total number of new orders. The badge number decreases as each new order is processed (accepted or rejected).
RideInbox > Changed Orders
Action Required
The badge shows the total number of change orders. The badge number decreases when a change order is processed (accepted or rejected).
RideInbox > Cancelled Orders
Action Required
The badge shows the total number of cancelled orders. The badge number decreases each time a cancelled order is actioned (the user clicks the 'OK' button).
RideConnect > Find Partners
Action Required
The badge shows the total number of pending invitations. The badge number decreases each time an invitation is processed (accepted or ignored).
RideConnect > Messages
Messages for Review
The badge shows the total number of new messages received since the last view. Each chat conversation shows the number of unread messages. When the message menu item is clicked, the badge is cleared. When individual chat conversations are clicked, the badge is cleared for that conversation. If individual chats are not viewed, the badge will not appear, even if there are unread messages.
RideHQ > Open Issues
Action Required
The badge shows the total number of open issues. The badge number decreases each time an issue is resolved.
RideHQ > Tasks
Action Required
The badge shows the total number of 'to-do' tasks assigned to your user. The badge number decreases each time a task is completed.
RideManager > Allocate
Action Required
The badge shows the total number of orders to be allocated. The badge number decreases when an order is allocated.
RideManager > Unresolved
Action Required
The badge shows the total number of orders that are either cancelled or rejected. The badge number decreases when an order is reallocated or when the underlying sales order is cancelled.
Each app badge shows the total sum of items requiring attention, including both Action Required and Messages for Review.
